Darling Homes in Prosper, Texas

When Darling Homes determined to build 4060 Chimney Rock in a dazzling setting in The Whitley Place Neighborhood in Prosper, they made the decision to choose "Quality" over size. This spectacular property is the epitome of, "I want the best!" rather than "I want the most." As you approach the home, you cannot help but notice the graceful side patio with French doors to the study inside, as well as the brick front terrace enhancing the front façade.

You are greeted by an impressive "Grand Hall" Rotunda Foyer highlighted by a soaring two story ceiling, crown molding, gorgeous light fixtures, and hand scraped hardwood flooring.
The large arched entry to the dining room is inviting and features hand textured walls, and the flooring is hand scraped hardwood. The plantation shutters on the French Doors and Double Windows provide more than ample light to set the mood for entertaining friends or family in style.

The richly appointed study sits to the front of the home and is located to the left of the entry at the foyer. The study is large with practical and usable built-ins, and features judges paneling and hand scraped wood floors, as well as French doors to the Patio.

Delightfully open to the family living center, the kitchen and breakfast nook are up to the minute in every way and provide a great space for family fun and casual entertaining. The kitchen is a chef’s delight and features granite countertops and Viking and Asko stainless steel appliances, including a professional style Viking Cooktop with 6 Burners plus Griddle. The "inspiration piece" island features finishes that complement the rich wood stained cabinetry in this delightful kitchen. Rachel Ray never had it so good!

Added features include a butler’s pantry with glass front cabinets designed to serve the dining room, and a working butler’s pantry with built-in Viking Microwave. The breakfast room offers enough space for a crowd and also provides a large granite topped serving counter befitting a wonderful buffet for a celebration brunch or dinner. The many arches from various rooms into the kitchen and family area provide a European old world style that is both charming and warm.
The open family room has a beautiful stone and brick fireplace and a wall of windows viewing the outdoor living space. The hand scraped hardwood flooring continues throughout this area and the hand textured walls provide a soft ambiance for living and entertaining. There is ample room for furniture and video equipment to be positioned for fun and enjoyment.

The master suite, in the back of the home, is off an alcove allowing it to be private and not viewed from any of the living areas. It is also secluded and split from the other first floor bedroom at the front of the home. A charming sitting area with windows offers fantastic views of the backyard and there is a convenient door to the back patio. The master bath has oversized tile flooring, granite topped vanities, and a door to a private patio. The large walk-in closet has abundant built-in shelving and custom dressers. A neat addition is a door to the utility room through the master bedroom closet.

A wonderful guest suite is located at the front of the home, far from the master suite. It is large and cozy with a private bath and large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has an attractive bay window that looks out to the terrace in the front of the home. This is a delightful setting and the home site is set high to allow for excellent visibility.
