What happens on the second visit an Agent makes to
your home?

When the agent meets with you for your second visit, you should have a detailed list of questions available for review with them. You want to know:

  • How they will market your home in detail?
  • The likely sales price of your home?
  • How long it will take for your home to sell in their opinion?
  • What repairs or alterations need to be done to get your home ready to sell?
  • What is the communications process in communicating with you plans that they have for selling your home?
  • Have other homes have sold for in the area?
  • What other homes are for sale in the area at this time?
  • How much inventory is available for sale in your neighborhood?

The savvy real estate agent will give you a range of prices rather than a specific price that your home is likely to sell at. This range is useful in determining the price you should set for your home based upon your timing, market conditions, and other factors that may be out of your agent' s control.

In our next blog, we will explore specific behavior you should look for in an Agent.
