Great Beginnings: Strategy One
Using Psychology To Sell Your Home!
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then your front door will say it all. Just imagine the impact that your front door can have on the thoughts of a buyer. Elizabeth Arden gets this message! Her trademark front door is a symbol to those passing by.
The red door represents a world of luxury and tranquility. I'm not saying that you should paint your front door red. I am saying that your front door should send a message.
The message should be of quality, friendliness, and home. Spend a few dollars to make your front door look appealing to the buyer. Make sure that the area around the front door draws people in. Many buyers form a first impression while standing at the front door waiting for the REALTOR to get the key and open the door. That first impression can be positive or negative. Regardless of the result, they will psychologically support their first impression.
Starting out with a positive first impression may result in a buyer overlooking some other aspect of your home that is not perfect, because they feel good before they enter. From the curb, your front door should be an invitation to ther buyer. Spend the time and money to send your invitation in a special way.

Use "Psychology" to SELL YOUR HOME!

Over the next several weeks we will be visiting about how to use "psychology" to improve the possibility of selling your home. The market is tough for selling homes in many places and sellers need to use all the tools they can to improve their chances of getting their home sold.
The suggestions are based upon years of work, study, and teaching in the areas of Human Behavior Theory, Psychology, and Professional Sales Concepts. Each blog will include one strategy based upon these concepts to get your potential buyer to be more impressed with your home. There will be at least 10 strategies and if are all employed, you should improve your chances of getting a buyer to fall in love with your home and make an offer. Each strategy will be linked to a professional sales concept.
Keep in mind that some of the suggestions may include spending money to make your home more appealing to the buyer. However, the ultimate goal is to have a prospective buyer look at your home and want to see more, stay longer, and linger for a while at your property. This will allow them to take the time to see all of the features and great benefits of living in your home.
Don't be afraid to try new things in the current market. The goal is to differentiate your home from the others in the marketplace. I look forward to helping you and invite you to come back soon.
